Paving a Road Damaged by Wild Boars with Wood Chips!

In this forest, wild boars and deer sometimes visit,

but the wild boars can cause a mess by digging up and destroying the road.

They probably do it to eat the insects in the soil,

but because they are so strong, they can really damage the road.

In the cold mornings and evenings of winter, the soil often freezes,

and if the damaged road also freezes, it can be difficult to walk on.

That’s why we decided to use wood chips that a friend gave us to pave the road.

We loaded the wood chips onto a wheelbarrow and carried them to the road one by one.

We flattened them with shovels and packed them down with our feet.

Because of the work schedule of my friend, we worked from around 6:00-7:00 in the morning.

It was cold in the morning, but it felt great to get our bodies moving early in the day.

We’ll steadily work on the project bit by bit.
