For this event, we organized something that would allow us to relax and unwind in the forest as much as possible.
We walked around the woods, had lunch we brought with us, and then roasted marshmallows over a Mini-Bonfire.
Just watching the fire can be so relaxing,
and the marshmallows are always a hit – it’s hard to beat the combination of fire and marshmallows!
One of the participants, who was from the United States, brought along biscuits and chocolate,
so we were also able to make s’mores – a classic American treat.
Afterward, we lay down on a simple wooden deck we had set up in a spot that felt like a secret hideaway in the forest, and enjoyed some forest bathing.
One of my former colleagues, whom I hadn’t seen in about ten years, even dozed off and started snoring!
We had some new acquaintances join us for this event, and we also got to reconnect with friends who came back from the previous event.
It was a lot of fun, and being in the forest and by the campfire was very therapeutic.
Just like our hiking events, we’d like to continue organizing forest bathing events like this one regularly.
On this day, we had 10 participants from Japan, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, India, and the United States.
The participation fee for this event will be used to cover the costs of organizing the event and maintaining the forest.
